Softrail maintains two sets of track territory libraries for Train Dispatcher 2 and Train Dispatcher 3. All Train Dispatcher 2 territories can be simulated with Train Dispatcher 3. Train Dispatcher 2 cannot simulate Train Dispatcher 3 territories. The two track territory libraries are the For Sale Library and the Customer Contributed or Free Library. Almost all of the territories in these two libraries were developed by our Track Builder 2 & 3 customers. Many of these customers are current or retired railroad employees, who are very familar with the territories they developed. There are currently 335 territories in the Free Library. These can be downloaded, and railroads operations can be simulated over them at no charge. There are currently 368 territories in the For Sale Library. These can be downloaded and viewed at no charge. However, to simulate railroad operations over a For Sale territory, a password must be purchased for the particular territory. Territory authors often provide updates/corrections to their territories. A password purchased for a territory will acitivate the territory as originally produced as well as any subsequent updates to the territory. The price for a Train Dispatcher 2 For Sale territory password is $5, and a Train Dispatcher 3 For Sale territory password is $7. The territories in the "For Sale" track territory library will not work with the freeware version of Train Dispatcher 2. If you have not purchased a full version of Train Dispatcher 2 or Train Dispatcher 3, please do not order territories from our "For Sale" track territory library. If you regularly use the Customer Contributed Territory Library or have needed support in the past, and wish to make a contribution to help us cover the costs of updating and maintaining the territory libraries, it would be greatly appreciated.
